Today is Christmas Eve and time for celebration and reflection. I am so thankful for all the blessings I have received this past year.  However, I have a bad habit of looking at things in the negative light sometimes.  This past year for flower growing gave me lots of challenges with the insects and weather.  I was disappointed at the end of the season with overall flower business and try to understand what I can do different this coming year.  But the truth is, sometimes you do all the right things but life just doesn't turn out the way you want it too.  Then I stop and think, I did learn new things about flower growing this year and I did have many successes too.  But today and tomorrow I will take the time and enjoy family and friends and give thanks to God for all he has given me.  Then come 2019 I will again begin to plan for the planting and harvesting of all the beautiful flowers that God has made and allows me to grow and enjoy and share with others.  So Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year.  2019 is going to be a fabulous year, so y'all stay tuned and watch the flowers that will come out of my fields this year.
